FAQs

WEDDING

Where is the wedding?

Our wedding will be at Henderson Acres, a beautiful mountaintop property that is approximately 25 minutes from downtown Asheville. The address is 197 Holcombe Branch Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787.

The wedding will be outdoors. In the unlikely chance of rain, the event spaces will be covered.

How do I get to the venue?

We will provide transportation to and from downtown Asheville. Please meet in the lobby of the Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville at 5:15pm. The shuttle will return to the Cambria at the end of the night.

If you are not staying in downtown Asheville, Uber and Lyft are available. You can also arrange a cab in advance to reduce wait times. We recommend Weaverville Taxi & Transport (828-575-8065).

There is parking available at the venue at 219 Holcombe Branch Road.

When can I arrive at the venue?

The venue will be open to guests starting at 5:45pm.

What type of food and drink will be served?

There will be hors d'oeuvres at 7pm for the cocktail hour, followed by dinner at 8pm. We will also have an open bar for the duration of the wedding.

TRAVEL

Where is the closest airport?

The Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. It is serviced by Allegiant, American, Delta, JetBlue, Sun Country, and United.

The Charlotte airport (CLT) is 2 hours away. The flights to Charlotte are typically more affordable than those to Asheville.

Knoxville's McGhee Tyson airport (TYS) is about 2 hours away from downtown Asheville. If you fly here, you can stop by the Great Smoky Mountains on your drive in.

Where should we stay?

We recommend staying near Asheville, which is close to the wedding venue, lots of restaurants, and things to do.

Should we get a rental car?

You do not need a rental car if you are planning to stay in the downtown Asheville area.

However, we highly recommend getting a rental car if you want to go hiking or see more of the mountains.

How long is the drive there?

Asheville is approximately 7 hours from DC and 9 hours from Philadelphia.
